Hi Mary, we suggest booking your ferry tickets from Naples to Ischia at least a month in advance for peak season (late spring to early fall) and a couple of weeks ahead for travel during the off-peak periods. This ensures you secure a spot for your vehicle, as space is limited and can fill up quickly, especially on weekends and holidays.

You will be catching the tail-end of high season and yes the weather will be on the warmer side. Things do start to slow down a bit in September.

We have our trip planned for the end of August, first few days of September. I’m assuming unfortunately it is still high season and hot weather?

Right now it is peak season, with a lot of tourists and the temperatures are high. We suggest either May or after September when it’s a bit cooler and not as crowded.
